Academy honors business professor from UH-Downtown
Linda Bressler, associate professor at the University of Houston-Downtown, has been selected by the Academy of Educational Leadership as a Distinguished Teacher for 2012. The award recognizes
innovative and creative teachers and educational programs across the country.
To be eligible for consideration, individuals must be nominated by a member of an affiliate of the Allied Academies and be evaluated by the
Teaching Awards Committee.
Bressler is an associate professor in finance, accounting and computer information systems in UHD’s College of Business. An award ceremony was held recently during the Allied Academies’ Spring 2012 International Conference in New Orleans.
