Heights Chamber welcomes new board members

Linda Whittington and Craig Atkinson have been elected to the board of directors for the Greater Heights Area Chamber of Commerce, announced April 9.

"The Chamber welcomes these outstanding professionals and looks forward to the many ideas and management skills they will add to the Chamber's board of directors," said Board Chairperson Juanita Gonzales in a news release.

Whittingon, a Chamber Ambassador and active member since joining in 2009, is the owner of Pro Printing. She studied at the University of Houston before beginning her work in the printing business.

Atkinson is a Gold Patron member and was the sponsor for the 2011 Heights Community Expo and "Idol of the Heights." He is the president of Houston Highway Credit Union, a company that has been serving members since 1952, and graduated from UH with a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance.
