American Heart Association to host annual 'Go Red For Women' event
The American Heart Association will host its annual "Go Red For Women" expo and luncheon May 2.
The event will focus on education concerning the prevention of heart disease and strokes, as well as healthy living. Luncheon attendees can attend educational sessions hosted by Merck and the Texas Beef Council, as well as a marketplace and expo.
Tickets are $250 per person. Proceeds will benefit AHA's fight against heart disease, the number one killer of women in America.
The event is scheduled to run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hilton Americas, 1600 Lamar.
