Princes Diner holds grand opening, benefit
On March 12, Prince’s Hamburgers held a grand opening ceremony for its new restaurant, Prince’s Diner, 1201 North Post Oak Road in Houston, as well as a benefit for HelpAHero.org.
The event featured Marine David Gilyeat, a national spokesperson for Helping A Hero, which provides specialized homes for qualifying service members injured in the line of duty.
Gilyeat was the first solider to receive a new home through the "Extreme Home Makeover" television show in 2007. His home was paid for by Helping A Hero.
The event also featured Linda Bauer, a cookbook author. Bauer signed copies of her new cookbook, Capitol Hill Cooks, which features recipes from the White House, Congress and past presidents.
Prince’s Diner is the fourth restaurant in the Prince’s Hamburgers restaurant group. The new location features classic diner dishes such as chicken-fried steak, meatloaf, chicken and waffles and more.
