Barnevelder Movements/Art Center to host opportunity for choreographers and dancers

Choreographers and dance artists will get the chance to perform original works this spring at the Barnevelder Theater, located at 2201 Preston St.

Choreographers and dancers of any skill level have two opportunities to present original works in front of other choreographers and dancers for a chance to learn new skills and make connections.

Works can be presented for two to four minutes March 25 and/or for four to six minutes April 29 at the Barnevelder Theater.

There is no fee to apply, but there will be a $40 mandatory production fee for choreographers or dancers chosen March 25. There will be a ticket sales requirement of four per choreographer or group.

The deadline to apply for this opportunity is Friday, March 9.

For the April 29 performance, there will be a $60 mandatory production fee and a minimal ticket sales requirement of six per choreographer or group.

The deadline to apply for this opportunity is March 23.
