Tuskegee Airman to speak at Houston Community College lecture
Luzine Benjamin Bickham, Sr., a member of the Tuskegee Airmen, will speak during the next "Men of Honor" lecture at Houston Community College between noon and 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 23 at 1300-B Holman, LHSB Room 100 in Houston.
Bickham, a Medal of Honor recipient, will talk about his journey from his days at Tuskegee Institute in Tuskegee, Ala., during World War II to his life today, including his story of military pilot training during the country's times of intense racial discrimination.
