The following arrests were reported by local authorities for the period of Jan. 26 to Jan. 28:

A Houston man is facing misdemeanor and felony charges of theft between $1,500 and $20,000, theft between $50 and $500, driving without or with an expired inspection sticker, speeding, failure to maintain financial responsibility (no insurance) and driving with expired registration after being arrested on Jan. 26, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 31 years old, resides in Spell. He was booked on Jan. 27.

A man was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on a misdemeanor charge of possession of marijuana (0 to 2 grams), the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 17-year-old black male lives in East 35th in Houston.

A Houston woman is facing a misdemeanor charge of theft between $50 and $500 after being arrested on Jan. 26, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The woman, 31 years old, resides in Fenn Street. She was booked on Jan. 27.

A man was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on a felony charge of aggravated assault of a family member, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 35-year-old black male lives in Byrne in Houston.

A woman was arrested on a charge of possession of a controlled substance penalty grade 1 (4 to 200 grams) on Jan. 27, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 35-year-old white female was booked at the Harris County Jail on Jan. 28 and is facing a felony charge. She resides in Heights Boulevard.

A woman was arrested on a charge of assault causing bodily injury on Jan. 27, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 45-year-old white female was booked at the Harris County Jail on Jan. 28 and is facing a misdemeanor charge. She resides in West 21st Street.

A man was arrested on a charge of driving with an invalid license on Jan. 27, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 26-year-old black male was booked at the Harris County Jail on Jan. 28 and is facing a misdemeanor charge. He resides in Arrowpoint Drive.

A woman was arrested on a charge of injury to a child on Jan. 27, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The 21-year-old white female was booked at the Harris County Jail on Jan. 27 and is facing a felony charge. She resides in East 26th Street.

A man was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on charges of driving with an invalid license and driving without or with an expired inspection sticker, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 28-year-old white male lives in Nasua in Houston.

A man was arrested by the Harris County Sheriff on a felony charge of motion to revoke parole, the Harris County Sheriff's Department reported. The 59-year-old black male lives in East 37th in Houston.

A Houston man is facing misdemeanor and felony charges of driving while intoxicated with a child under 15 years of age, two counts of failure to maintain financial responsibility (no insurance), two counts of driving without a Texas operator's license and driving without or with an expired inspection sticker after being arrested on Jan. 28, the Harris County Sheriff's Office reported. The man, 36 years old, resides in Larkin. He was booked on Jan. 29.
