Full-contact female football team to hold tryouts
The Houston Lady Panthers of the full-contact Sugar N Spice Female Football League will hold player tryouts on Saturday, Jan. 7.
The tryouts will be the last opportunity for women to become part of the team and the debut season of the league, which includes teams from New Orleans, San Antonio, Corpus Christi, Austin, Laredo, McAllen and Kansas City.
The tryouts will beheld from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kicks Indoor Soccer and Gym, located at 611 Shepherd Drive in Houston.
