Houston Community College to offer Goldman Sachs small business program
Houston Community College will be offering Goldman Sachs’ 10,000 Small Businesses Initiative classes in the spring.
The Small Business Initiative is a business management education program that helps business owners develop the skills needed to grow their company.
Students must attend a mandatory program orientation and 11 pre-scheduled learning sessions, as well as commit to an additional 68 hours per week of out-of-class activities, which include completing assignments and attending networking events and support clinics.
Additionally, students must develop a tailored plan for growth for their business prior to graduation.
The spring classes being Wednesday, April 11, and applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis. To apply, visit www.hccs.edu/10KSB.
Business owners who are selected to participate in the program at HCC will receive a scholarship to cover program tuition and materials.
HCC is located at 3100 Main St. in Houston.
