Council candidate to host barbecue fundraiser

Eric Dick, a candidate for the Houston City Council, is hosting a barbecue and silent auction fundraiser to benefit his campaign.

The event runs from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday, July 29 at the S.P.J.S.T. Lodge.

Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door (if available), and include one dinner and a drink ticket. Live music will be provided by The Good, Bad and Ugly.
