Recording studio opens in The Heights

The new Wire Road Studios

Houston’s historic Heights district is now home to Wire Road Studios, a new 5,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility that features two recording studios, a live room and a video-editing suite.

To celebrate, there will be a grand opening event that starts at 5 p.m. on Sunday, July 31. It will include appetizers, dessert and beer or wine. Guides will lead group tours and a Wire Road recording artist will be recording live each hour.

Performers will include:

Hazy Ray (Jazz) at 5:30 p.m.

Truckers Choice (Alt-Country) at 6:45 p.m.

Mantis (Alt-Rock) at 7:45 p.m.
