HS girls softball: Waltrip tops Sterling
In a tight pitching duel, Waltrip registered a 1-0 win over Sterling in District 21-4A high school girls softball action on Friday.
The win ups Waltrip to 13-4- overall and 9-0 in district play.
Waltrip will next host Austin on Monday at 4:30 p.m.
The loss drops Sterling to 2-12 overall and 2-9 in district play.
Sterling will next visit Yates on Tuesday at 4:30 p.m.
