HS baseball: St. Thomas defeats Houston Christian
St.Thomas defeated Houston Christian in District TAPPS 3-5A baseball action on Thursday.
St. Thomas, 16-7-0 overall and 3-2-0 in district play, won the game, 10-6.
Patrick Leonard hit three home runs in the victory. Eric Jensen struck out two batters in earning the win.
St. Thomas next visits Lamar on Saturday at 1 p.m.
Thursday's loss drops Houston Christian to 4-4-0 on the season and 3-2-0 in district games.
Brian Trieglaff struck out two batters in taking the loss for Houston Christian, who will visit Bellaire Episcopal on Friday at 7 p.m.
