HS boys baseball: Kinkaid routs West Houston
Kinkaid rolled to a 10-0 victory over West Houston in boys baseball on Tuesday.
"We continue to work on hitting line drives and keeping the ball out of the air," said Kinkaid coach Bobby Eggleston.
"Our hitters had a real good approach at the plate and our pitchers attacked the strike zone. That’s what we wanted to do, going in. Second baseman Andrew Rubenstein made a number of nice plays in the field tonight."
Will Fullenweider went 3-for-3 with a homer to lead the Kinkaid offense.
Kinkaid went in planning to give seven different pitchers an inning apiece to prepare for district play this weekend. However, the game only went 5 innings, so five pitchers got work.
