HS boys baseball preview: Waltrip vs. Davis
Waltrip will battle Davis in boys baseball action on Friday.
Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m. at Waltrip.
Waltrip is 10-6-1 on the year and 6-0-0 in district. On Wednesday, Waltrip beat Austin, 9-1, as Zechariah Lemond and Colin Webb each scored two runs.
Davis has a 1-8-0 record on the season and is 1-1-0 in district play. On Saturday, Davis lost to Eisenhower, 12-7.
After Friday’s game, Waltrip next plays Sharpstown on Thursday.
Davis next plays Yates on Wednesday.
