San Antonio artists fire drawings enlighten G Gallery patrons
An opening reception for international sculptor and artist Bill FitzGibbons’ new series of fire drawings took place at the G Gallery on Dec. 4, and his work will continue to be on display through Dec. 27.
The fire drawing series is a direct result of a collaborative project titled “Filament with Creighton Michael,” where the artist used an oxy-acetylene torch to burn the surface of primed birch board.
Located at 301 E. 11th St., the G Gallery is a contemporary art gallery space designed to showcase a wide range of current art disciplines.
The Famous Heights Cluster, Nau Haus Gallery, RedBud Gallery and the G Gallery will be having a "Texas Artists Today" book signing on Sunday, Dec.12, from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m.
