Poissant Gallery hosts group exhibition
The Poissant Gallery is hosting a group exhibition through Dec. 31.
New works will be on display by a variety of artists, including Alejandra Almuelle, a Peruvian artist who works in Austin. He will be showing clay figures and sculptures created through multiple techniques.
Artist V. Chin’s porcelain and stoneware pottery will be showcased. Mary Fischer’s series of images which focuses on architecture, specifically buildings in the wild, will be shown. Additionally, Kelley Eggert’s ceramic sculptures, which use nature as a model, and Jason Kishell’s visual presentation on the natural world will be on display.
Also being showcased is work by artists Judy Breitenbach, who is inspired by natural elements of form and color in things like sunrises and sunsets; Cindy Cozewith, whose work often includes Japanese images; Joyce Joe, who approaches art as a story; and Marsan Saqr, whose work draws inspiration from the shapes and colors of flora and fauna.
The Poissant Gallery is located at 5102 Center St.
