Fall kayak tours offered through North Lake Conroe Paddling Company

North Lake Conroe Paddling Company is offering guided paddling excursions through Houston's urban wilderness on Sept. 15, Oct. 13, Nov. 11 and Dec. 15.
Buffalo Bayou Partnership and The Wave shuttle service are partnering with North Lake Conroe Paddling Company to offer the tours. The excursions will last from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day.
The cost is $60 per person, and reservations are required by calling Trudi Smith at 713-752-0314, ext. 3, or emailing tsmith@buffalobayou.org.
Tandem recreational kayaks, paddles and safety gear will be provided, and a short kayaking lesson will be included.
The tours start at Woodway Drive, just west of I-610, and finish at Sabine Promenade, just east of the Sabine Street bridge. Groups will meet at the parking lot of the Woodway Boat Launch, just west of I-610.
Shuttles will be provided to take paddlers back to the parking area.
