Final day for First Saturday Arts Market is May 5

The final day for the First Saturday Arts Market, featuring 50 artists, canopied tents, music, food and nonprofit awareness, will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, May 5 in the parking lot at 548 W. 19th St.
Woodwind group WindSync will perform at 11 a.m., and soul-rocker Kenneth Scott Peters will go on at 3 p.m. Central City Co-op, The Art Project and Greyhound Pets of America will be the featured nonprofit organizations. Food trucks will be serving food during the arts market as well, with offerings from St. John's Fire and Porch Swing Desserts.
Market assistant Kevin Chenevert will hold his first artist reception at Carter & Cooley Deli, featuring photographs taken in his "Heights: Behind the Lens" series. The exhibit will be open from 7-10 p.m.
Starting June 2, the market will change to evening hours and will be open from 6-10 p.m.
